FAN FUN

Music by Michael Bihovsky

Something totally new and LOADS of fun is hearing two tunes by pal, fan, and talent Michael Bihovsky.  Talk about range!

Here they are from Michael himself:

The Human Evolution Smack-Down

is a totally awesome original rap song about the evolutionary history of man, and was written by me in response to a human evolution rap contest held by my anthropology professor, Anthony Di Fiore. The song, which features vocals by me, as well as gospel harmonies from four immensely talented vocalists here at NYU (Dana Gitlin, Mara Frankel, Melanie Siegel, and Ionie Bernstein), won the contest!

River Flows In You

The next recording available could not possibly be more different. This past Thursday, I was honored to hear a twenty-piece string orchestra at the Juilliard school perform a piece that I had arranged for orchestra, titled "River Flows in You" (originally written for piano by the South Korean composer Yiruma. This is the first time that I have ever heard a real live orchestra perform my work (hopefully the first of many!), and the experience was incredible and exhilarating and generally overwhelming in the very best
of ways. Juilliard was kind enough to record the piece for me
