| Broadway and Beyond: Four CDs for the Holiday Season |

| Another
holiday-time disc comes from Susan Egan, who originated the role
of 'Belle' in "Beauty and the Beast." Her disc
"Winter Tracks" has a baker's dozen of beautifully
rendered songs for this time of year – ranging from
"Santa Claus is Coming to Town" to a beautiful medley
of "Silent Night" and "Greensleeves."
Not all of Egan's selections are traditional. There are several terrific tracks on this disc that take a more contemporary approach to the holidays. A particular favorite is "The Turkey and the Stuffing," which imagines a decidedly BoHo approach to a holiday meal, making it about the love shared between a couple and not the gastronomic trimmings. Egan also includes a new "standard" – "All Those Christmas Cliches." Egan also includes a song from Lynn Ahrens and Alan Menken's "A Christmas Carol" – "God Bless Us Everyone." "Turkey" is by the album's co-producer, orchestrator and arranger, Christopher McGovern, who makes sure that each of the songs on "Winter Tracks," fits Egan's voice and interpretation perfectly.
