“Chess” is a musical with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, formerly of ABBA. The story involves a romantic triangle between two players in a world chess championship, and a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other. Although the protagonists were not intended to represent any specific individuals, the characters’ personalities are loosely based on those of Victor Korchnoi and Bobby Fischer.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 1994 TONYS

Susan was nominated for "Best Actress" and perfomed on the 1994 Tony broadcast.

The trivia fact is ... they pretaped half of the B&B segment and performed some of the segment live. Between the pretape a few days prior and Tony night, Susan broke her arm during a performance as Belle. SO, look closely -- in the pretaped parts (Be Our Guest - after the curtain rises) she has use of her right arm. In the live pieces (Gaston, finale, etc) she has a cast on the arm hidden by the costume. Disney gave her her first real break!

TAYLOR, THE LATTE BOY
